Special Studies Week
MDS Middle School students have left the building!
It seems a bit quieter around campus this week as our middle school students have taken learning on the road. Special Studies week enables students to encounter aspects of the curriculum through immersive experiences. The fifth graders are at the Outer Banks of North Carolina exploring ecosystems, discovering history, and spending time with the student on the eastern end of the state. Sixth and Seventh graders are diving into marine biology and exploring the ocean depths in Key Largo, Florida at Marine Lab. Cultural immersion is the focus for our Eighth Grade students in a culminating learning adventure to Costa Rica. Stay tuned next week for more details about these incredible excursions.
