Music is in the Air

Music plays a vital role in a well-rounded education. It strengthens critical thinking, nurtures empathy, and encourages self-expression. Research shows that music also supports students’ social, emotional, and cognitive growth while fostering collaboration, confidence, and appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Within our music program, students develop active listening skills, vocal technique, and the joy of creating something meaningful together. These shared artistic moments enrich our school community and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them.

This year’s Winter Concert beautifully reflects the power of music in learning. Students will perform music connected to their IB Unit of Inquiry, highlighting key IB Learner Profile attributes and showcasing how our students grow as thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, and caring global citizens.
