Roarin’ Twenties Casino Night + Live Auction

Our annual auction is not only a fundraising and entertaining event, but a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!
MDS families and community members participate in a variety of ways: by donating, acquiring items to auction, planning, bidding in the silent auction, and by being present the night of the live event. MDS receives no government funds and relies solely on tuition and fundraisers.
Tuition covers ~80% of our operating budget, so MDS relies on a combination of grants and unrestricted funds/donations to make up the difference.
We are a 501(C)(3), and are committed to maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio and providing an inquiry based education with emphasis on community interaction, service projects, and global IB awareness.

Our annual Gala Auction raises funds for our innovative programming and curriculum which allows us to provide the best education in Burke and surrounding counties.
Auction proceeds support capital expenses, academic programming and student tuition assistance.

Our highly anticipated Casino Night was back by popular demand!

Guests joined us for a roarin' night filled with casino games, glamour, and Gatsby-style fun, all in support of Morganton Day School.

They enjoyed the smooth sounds of Centerpiece Jazz, indulged in delectable hors d’oeuvres and libations, and embraced the spirit of the 1920s with themed décor that transported them to a bygone era of glitz and elegance.

🎷 Silent and live auctions featured exciting items and experiences, giving attendees the chance to support our school while taking home something special.

🎷 Guests donned their finest 1920s attire and enjoyed a night of dancing, dining, bidding, and celebrating—all for a great cause!

Our live, in-person only event featured Casino Games, live jazz, hors d'oeuvres and libations,
plus a live auction with captivating items that will make everyone feel like they hit the jackpot!
