Our annual auction is not only a fundraising and entertaining event, but aWHOLE LOT OF FUN!
MDS families and community members participate in a variety of ways: by donating, acquiring items to auction, planning, bidding in the silent auction, and by being present the night of the live event. MDS receives no government funds and relies solely on tuition and fundraisers.
Tuition covers ~80% of our operating budget, so MDS relies on a combination of grants and unrestricted funds/donations to make up the difference.
We are a 501(C)(3), and are committed to maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio and providing an inquiry based education with emphasis on community interaction, service projects, and global IB awareness.
Our annual Gala Auction raises funds for our innovative programming and curriculum which allows us to provide the best education in Burke and surrounding counties.Auction proceeds support capital expenses, academic programming and student tuition assistance.
