Elementary Teacher

Morganton Day School is excited to offer the opportunity for a full-time Elementary teacher  to join our staff in the fall of 2019. The teacher will join a Lower School staff of skilled, dedicated teachers committed inquiry-based education with a global perspective and continually developing a student-centered, mission-driven curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning and implementation for both small group and whole group instruction, maintaining close communication with parents, and being an active member of a collaborative team. Teachers at MDS strive to collaborate toward the realization of every child’s highest potential in the classroom, community, and wider world.

This position will begin in August 2019.

Substitute Teacher – Lower and Middle School

Morganton Day School is interested in candidates who are passionate about life-long learning and will support the inquiry learning and the positive culture of our school. Previous classroom experience and excellent communication skills are essential. This position is on an as-needed basis and effective for the 2019-2020 school year.
